BRETZELS D'AUTOMNE : VEGAN

 

Bonjour à tous,

C'est la saison des courges et je suis une addict de butternut. Chaque annés ma cuisine se transforme en potager. Je voulais réaliser une recette originale et qui demande peu d'ingrédients. 

J'avais envie de faire des pains au chocolat briochés mais je me suis rabattue sur des bretzels. Je n'en avais jamais réalisés. J'ai trouvé différentes recettes et voila le résultat.

Le façonnage est simple, attention les faire de tailles raisonnables car cela gonfle énormément. Et comme moi vous risquez de vous retrouvez avec des bretzels compliqués à manipuler à la sortie de leur bain d'eau chaude. 

FOCUS ON : APPORTS EN PROTÉINES DANS LES SIMILI-CARNÉ

"Tu es vegan, mais attention c'est un régime alimentaire où tu risques d'être carencée?"

Oui, ces mots sont sortis de ma bouche quand j'ai rencontré mon "parrain" vegan, un collègue de travail à l'époque qui m'a inspirée. Je l'en remercie d'ailleurs (big up à Remy).

Donc je vais aborder ici le sujet épineux de ces "carences", inexistantes chez moi. J'ai une balance qui mesure tout et mon taux de protéines est énorme sans compter  que ma masse musculaire a explosée. Sachant que je fais du sport quotidiennement. 

Un monde Vegan Paris m'a donné des simili-carnés à tester. Et bien évidemment je veux vous montrer que ces produits sont sains (pour la plupart) et pleins de protéines.

Mais à quoi servent les protéines, de combien de grammes par personne et par jour avons nous besoin ? 

Bref, je vais survoler le sujet car je ne suis pas nutritionniste ou médecin mais je vais vous donner des exemples concrets de où trouver votre dose de protéines et quelle est ma source favorite.

FOOD : SALADE DE UDON AUX AIGUILLETTES THAI (VEGAN)

Comment allez-vous en cette période trouble? Moi je ne me laisse pas abattre et je vais vous partager plus de recettes vegan et saines (et délicieuses) sur mon blog. 

Sur Instagram j'ai participé à un concours avec "Les Nouveaux Fermiers" et j'ai GAGNE! 

Cela ne m'arrive jamais. J'ai donc précisé que leurs "aiguillettes" étaient ce qui me ferait le plus plaisir parmi les lots et hop ce matin j'ai reçu "mon précieux".

J'ai reçu trois paquets d'aiguillettes : version nature, thaï et au piment d'espelette.

 Evidemment très rapidement une recette a germé avec les ingrédients que j'avais à portée de main.

Des nouilles Udon, des aiguillettes thaï "les nouveaux fermiers", des haricots mungo, du concombre, de la carotte, des cacahuètes, des oignons cébettes, de la coriandre fraîche, de l'ail, du citron vert, des oignons rouges et du gingembre frais. Je fais aussi une sauce très rapide à ajouter à la fin. 

Une salade de udon façon thaï aux aiguillettes vegan a donc vu le jour dans ma cuisine, c'est une recette que je faisais avant de me végétaliser mais je n'avais pas trouvé de simili satisfaisant pour le moment. 

Je me contentais de tofu fumé (qui match aussi très bien dans une version bouillon).

Mais qui sont ces "nouveaux fermiers" ?

Il y a quelques mois de cela j'ai réalisé une brioche marbrée vegan pour un concours avec la marque "Yumgo" sur instagram. 

Ce fut fort agréable de créer à partir d'une recette de boulangerie éditée par Yoshimi qui est la fondatrice de la belle maison "Land and Monkeys".

La référence en boulangerie et pâtisserie 100% végétale à Paris (un de mes spots vegan favoris aussi).

I am a lipstick addict, I own more lipsticks than clothes. And the "redish" tones are more my speed.
Recently I received a beautiful bouquet of rare Peonies. You can still order the bouquet here if you like them. I am in love but flowers don't stay alive for long. This is why I own a lot of green friends. I wanted to immortalize the beauty of those Peonies, just like humans it fades away quickly. Photography is truly therapeutic for me. I hope to show to my grand-children one day some beautiful pics of and say "this was me younger" and they say "damn grand-ma you were hot as hell".

Are you a coffee addict, a tea enthusiast or you kept your inner child close with a hot chocolate?

For me it's coffee but I have always been into the latte from Starbucks with different flavors,  but it's full of sugar and not very healthy.
I did love the "french vanilla coffee" from "Dunkin Donuts" for years but very hard to find in France and on Amazon it was sold out.

I found the holy coffee brand that has flavored beans coffee and no calories.

BEAUTY : HOW I CURL MY HAIR

I will tell you what products and tool I use to curl my thin and very straight long hair. And that's always been a challenge to keep my curls "intact" during the day.
Sometimes I could style my hair for an hour and two hours later I had a "beach wave" look (and I do not like that).
I've been in search for a good curling iron, and I heard about the brand "T3 micro", very expensive but the design of those are stunning. Here is my "hair beauty routine" to achieve my "curly hair look".

Since we have to stay home, I really enjoy having a cosy perfume into my home, especially if like me you cook a lot.

 One of my favorite brand for years is Rituals. I was ordering stuff from them before they had stores in France.
All the home collection is stunning, the price point was always affordable (more than Diptyque).

Recently they came out with a "perfume genie", it's an electrical perfume diffuser and you just put your favorite home fragrance inside. I am into almost all the fragrances from this brand, it's always subtle and very cosy. Not agressive for the nose like other brands. So I was already convinced by this device.
I was thrilled when I saw this beauty in my local Rituals store, but even if for this kind of device the price is fair. I decided to finally adopt one in December, a Christmas gift from me to me.

J'avoue avoir une petite obsession pour les odeurs de lessive et de propre en général . Mais attention pas de propre à la lavande car franchement je ne suis pas du tout une adepte de cette odeur.
